There’s just something about Rachmaninoff!  One of the most prodigious pianists and composers of the 20th Century, his music seems to speak directly to the human soul, featuring melodies and harmonies which would have a direct influence on modern jazz and pop music, film and TV scores, and light up concert halls for years to come.  Celebrate his 150th birthday with pianist, author, and educator, Matthew Harrison as he explores Rachmaninoff’s two epic piano sonatas.  CPF Live Sessions are intimate live recording sessions with artist interviews and audience Q and A, which provides a more personalized experience for the listener/viewer to get inside the world of both the music and the performer.
